PROMOACTIVMED

Improvement in economic competitiveness of industrial parks in rural areas across the Latin Arc.

Project description and goals:

The main goal of the project is to improve the economic competitiveness of industrial parks that are located in the rural areas of the Latin Arc. Industrial parks should adapt to the necessary requirements of new economic activities – especially in the fields of logistics, agri-food production, green growth and smart society. Hence, the project will concentrate its efforts on enterprises that are located in industrial parks or that are somehow related to them.

It is among our objectives to submit a project proposal to an EU funding call (ENI-CBC-MED, MED).

Actions:

a) Study on the current state of industrial parks and their competitive positioning in relation to other industrial parks in nearby areas.

b) Drafting of a strategic plan on the competitive improvement of industrial parks. This working document shall also establish a priority of action.

c)   Technical assistance.

  1. Methodological orientations for the management of information systems in industrial parks and other areas of economic activity

  2. Programmes for the promotion of industrial parks.

  3. Collection of good practices in industrial parks and other areas of economic activity

  4.  Training for the promotion of revitalization of industrial parks and other areas of economic activity.

  5.  Meetings for the exchange of experiences among industrial parks and other areas of economic activity.
