COM&CAP MarInA-Med: the first Horizontal Project of the MED Programme

Project description

COM&CAP MarInA-Med aims to coordinate communication and capitalisation activities for projects selected under the “maritime integrated approach” call for proposals of the MED Programme. COM&CAP MarInA-Med is responsible for collecting, processing and disseminating the key results of the selected projects. It also includes inter-project information exchange and the organisation of events to present and capitalise on project results.

1) To build a community of projects

2) To disseminate the results of the projects both internally and externally

3) To capitalise the results of the projects

Events: 5 Capitalization seminars and 3 conferences. Through these events, the integrated martime project teams have had the opportunity to discuss common challenges and disseminate and capitalize their results.

Video: MarInA-Med News was launched as the horizontal project’s news channel.  In this news channel, short clips are used to disseminate the results, explain the key concepts and report on the main events from each Integrated Maritime Project. This news channel has thus become a brenchmark for maritime issues in the Mediterranean. The project’s final report provides a full vision of the Med Maritime Projects  and offers an insight into the first experience of the Horizontal Project.

Web platform – with two main goals:

1- To provide information on the projects in terms of their contents, activities, results, events, internal synergies and dissemination of actions.

2 - To coordinate Med partners by giving access to each project to the web platform.

Database: the Med social network and the general database encompass the main actors in Mediterranean maritime issues.

The bi-monthly newsletter concentrates all of the results and enables partners to achieve their goals in line with the maritime call.

Drafting of a recommendation report on issues pertaining to the Mediterranean maritime domain.
